Heavy brow

Heavy or drooped brows occur when the skin near or around the eyebrows loses elasticity. This causes the eyebrows to droop and establish a “heavy” or hooded appearance. This can make you appear angry, upset or tired.  Eyebrows that sag can make it difficult to see past the eyelid and block part of you vision.  If you look in the mirror and don’t relate to that tired person looking back at you, it may be time to come and see us.

The appearance of our brows is impacted due to the loss of collagen typically found in our temples and forehead. This is typically due to lifestyle, genetics and environmental factors.

While surgical options are available, we offer the newest non-invasive, non-surgical brow lift.  Using a combination of approaches, we have extensive experience in restoring the natural lift in your brow, leaving that person in the mirror looking relaxed and refreshed.

Neuromodulator such as Botox and Dysport can help to relax the muscles that are pulling the brow downward and lift and re-create a nice arch to the brow.  This takes the skill of an experienced injector to achieve.

Dermal fillers used to fill the loss of volume in the temple and along the brow can also help to add lift and support to falling tissue.

Lastly, fractionated lasers like Halo can help to increase collagen and elastaticity of the tissue supporting the brow.

Eyebrows can frame the eyes beautifully.  Come and see us to learn how we can enhance your beautiful eyes.
